LínguaProz - Complete Language Service Provider

1. About LínguaProz

LínguaProz is a professional translation agency operated by Omnivest Global Enterprises (PTY) Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa. These Terms of Service govern your use of our services and website. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services

3. Pricing and Payment

General translations: from R0.75 per wordnCertified translations: R350 per page (approximately 250 words per page)nExpress service (2-3 days): +50% of base ratenUrgent service (24 hours): +100% of base ratenVolume discounts apply for orders exceeding 1,000 wordsnStandard orders: 50% payment upfront, 50% on deliverynUrgent orders: full payment required upfrontnInvoices are issued for all transactions

4. Turnaround Times

Delivery timelines are confirmed at the time of order. LínguaProz will notify you promptly of any delays. Urgent service guarantees delivery within 24 hours from order confirmation, provided the order is placed and payment confirmed before 09:00 on a business day. LínguaProz is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

5. Translator Relationship

Translators working with LínguaProz are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, or partners of Omnivest Global Enterprises (PTY) Ltd. LínguaProz acts as the certifying agency and is solely responsible for quality assurance, certification, and client relations. No employment relationship exists between LínguaProz and any translator on its panel.

6. Certified Translations and Jurisdiction

Certified translations issued by LínguaProz are certified under South African law by Omnivest Global Enterprises (PTY) Ltd t/a LínguaProz as the certifying agency. If you intend to use a certified translation outside of South Africa, it is your sole responsibility to verify the acceptance requirements of the relevant foreign authority, institution, or government. You are advised to consult the relevant country's embassy, consulate, or official representation in South Africa before submitting a certified translation for use abroad. LínguaProz does not warrant the acceptance of its certified translations by foreign institutions, embassies, courts, or governments, and accepts no liability for non-acceptance in foreign jurisdictions.

7. Confidentiality

All documents submitted to LínguaProz are treated as strictly confidential. Assigned translators are bound by non-disclosure agreements. We do not share your documents with any third party beyond the assigned translator and quality reviewer. LínguaProz implements secure file transfer and encrypted storage protocols.

8. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the completed translation is transferred to the client. LínguaProz retains no intellectual property rights over delivered translations. LínguaProz retains the right to use anonymised, non-identifiable project data for internal quality improvement purposes.

9. Revisions

One round of revisions is included with every translation. Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery and must relate directly to the original source content. Revisions do not include changes to the source document or requests for stylistic preferences not specified at the time of order.

10. Limitation of Liability

LínguaProz's total liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. LínguaProz is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of its translations, including but not limited to damages arising from non-acceptance by a foreign authority or institution.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

LínguaProz reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
